Inventory clerk will be responsible to forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock with the ultimate aim to reduce repair turnaround times
Duties
Place orders to replenish parts as needed, low-turn stock items to be kept in mind
Track stock levels and perform regular audits
Track shipments and address delays
Oversee proper storage of parts
Keep updated inventory records (including weekly shipments)
Ensure stock purchases do not exceed budget
Manage interim and annual stock takes
Monthly management reporting, presenting a detail analysis of stock movement and inventory levels
Scheduling of repair jobs in accordance with spares shipments
Experience and Education
National Diploma in Stock / Inventory Management
Proven experience in Excel MS Word and Outlook
AX Dynamics would be an advantage or experience with a software stock control management system
3+ years working experiencein the same or similar role responsible for parts management
Will work at least 1 Saturday morning in a month
Previous experience and knowledge of photographic parts will be an advantage
Stock management, Product planning and stock file experience
