Applications are invited for the above-mentioned position based a t the Goudini Distillery. The successful candidate will report to the Bulk Stock & Fermentation Controller.

Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to :
Offloading of bulk products
Execution of fermentation related tasks
Product transfers
Apply strict and accurate loss control
Taking up of tanks for stock reconciliations
Operation of the press and Amarula pot-still
Sample preparations for organoleptic assessment
Execution of daily tasks and activities to achieve departmental targets
Ensure daily tasks are done in accordance with correct company procedures and work instructions
Responsible for 5s activities
Loading of bulk products
Effective cleaning of tanks
Accurate and effective record keeping
Execution of basic maintenance tasks
Taking routine and non-routine samples
Active participation in Problem Solving
Active participation in mini business meetings
Assist in monthly bulk stock take process

The successful candidate must have the following qualification, skills and experience:
Minimum GR 12
Working experience in a Cellar environment will be advantageous
Ability to work under pressure
Team player with good communication skills
Knowledge of safety procedures and housekeeping standards will be advantageous
Willing and able to work extended hours (overtime) as and/or when required
Active participation in E2 activities
