Incumbent’s Job Purpose

Incumbent will be responsible to MANAGE THE FULL FUNCTION of the Order Department to ensure smooth running of the department, resulting in satisfied Customers.

Incumbent will be required to perform the following tasks., and in addition MANAGE the team output of 2 fellow Order Takers:

Continuous monitoring of e-mails, phone calls and WhatsApps, and responding as per company procedures
Respond to, and process orders/requests/queries according to company procedures
Manage customer queries/complaints and make sure client issues are handled efficiently and within a reasonable time frame, including feedback to Management
Initiate outgoing calls according to calling lists
Acting on and following up on deviations; with daily feedback to Management
Printing and sorting of invoices
Data-capturing and processing of invoices on ERP system
Update and check orders daily, against route sheets
Update calling lists and standing orders at least once per week, or when necessitated
Strictly adhere to and achieve agreed upon daily deadlines
Convey product information to customers
Continuously striving to improve on efficiency and productivity

Skills Required:

DEMONSTRATED MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS

Fluent in English (Written and verbal)
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)

Qualifications / Experience:

Grade 12
Proven experience in a LEADING ROLE in Telesales; Sales or Order Department activities
Relevant Tertiary qualification will be advantageous
Experience at a Bakery/Hospitality institute will be advantageous
Knowledge of Bakery products will be advantageous
