VACANCY: GENERAL MANAGER – INTERIOR DESIGNING – DURBAN
REQUIREMENTS
• Proven people management skills • Ability to analyse situations and respond appropriately• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Interior Designing – ESSENTIAL • Minimum 8 years’ experience as General Manager• Strong pricing experience• Ability to show initiative • Verbal & written communication skills• Ability to function well under pressure and stress• Computer literacy in Word, Excel, OutlookRESPONSIBILITIES: • Reporting to the owner • Run the business efficiently • Manage company finances in line with budgets• Obtain and manage orders coming in from high end customers• Ensure stock management processes are in place• Creating and sending of quotations (costings)• Ensure people leadership & development processes are in place• Ensure stock counts are done• Manage the entire CMT department• Ensure orders are on track and delivered on time• Manage employee compliment in line with budgets & sales• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures & legislation• Ensure merchandising & marketing standards are in place• Invoicing customers and ensuring payments are received • Ensure core operational business processes are in place.
