An employment opportunity exists for a Clinical Facilitator–Professional Nurse- based in Cape Town.
The Clinical Facilitator is responsible for the facilitation of teaching and learning of the theoretical and clinical component in a clinical environment. The incumbent will further provide up to date nursing education, evaluation and support to students in the clinical hospital ward environment. The incumbent will also be responsible for establishing partnerships between the hospital teams and Netcare education teams to ensure continuous development. The Position reports to the Nursing Service Manager.
Required Skills
communication skills : 2 to 3 years
registered nurse : 2 to 3 years
team work : 1 to 2 years
clinical nursing : 2 to 3 years
Candidate Requirements
Job requirements:
Registered with SANC as a Professional Nurse
Assessor and Moderator Trained
Appropriate Qualification in Education
Commence education towards a Master’s Degree within two years of commencement of employment at Netcare and complete the qualification within the prescribed academic period
2 year’s experience as a Registered Nurse
Experience in Clinical Nursing Environment
Research literacy
Intermediate computer proficiency
