Technical External Sales Rep: A person tasked to call on customers to market, sell our products/ services as well as to provide after sales technical support, they have an office base but it expected to be out on the road visiting customers at least 50% of their time each month. Accountabilities: Cold and planned calling on potential, dormant and existing customers, identify new markets for our products/services. Set sales trip routes/schedules and create and manage your customer mapping. Set expense budgets for sales trips for BUM to approve. Sell pumping solutions to your customer. Perform complex pump selections using dolphin program and own pump knowledge/experience. Establish and maintain good customer relations. Manage key customer accounts allocated to you. Know and understand the market sectors allocated to you , and provide feedback to your BUM on pricing, budgets, market trends and competitor info gained. Assist in negotiating overdue payments from customers. Maintain proper formal travel logbooks for fuel claims. Reconcile your business expenses each month end and submit to your BUM for approval. Time management (in & out of the office). Assist with trade show planning, set up, execution and pack-up as instructed. Input quotation data (Value Rules) and customer info/ data into salesforce, use it as a CRM system. Undertake customer site visits to offer technical advice or to gain pump data needed. Assist your BUM with AOP compilation. Compile and submit sales reports timeously. Perform the internal sales and admin functions as back-up, if required. Skills and attributes Good verbal and written communication ability. Computer literacy. Proactive in job functions. Be organised in their daily activities. Pump knowledge and experience. Interpersonal Relationship skills. Marketing and Sales functions ability. English Essential. MS Office, SAP experience beneficial, Salesforce. Correct mind set on the job. 5S Methodology.
