Please Email your CV in MS Word Format to [email protected] and include a Photograph of yourself MIN REQUIREMENTS – Diploma in Production / Operations Management – Alternatively BTech Production/Operations Manager – Basic computer skills in MS Office – Min 5 years exp in similar position in FMCG – Experienced SA ID Qualified PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR PRIMARY PURPOSE – Implement and supervise the company manufacturing process – Supervise work group to produce company products – Supervise the implementation of Quality Assurance requirements – Staff Management requirements – Ensure that production data is accurately recorded on shift i.e. production output, sample testing, waste, downtime by reason – Report on progress and achievement of production objectives and targets i.e. output vs planned – Assist with ensuring that machinery is maintained and repaired – print ID labels and bar-codes for company product range – Implement/supervise productivity – Supervise quality/scheduling req based on specific, measurable/attainable team goals – Wastage is kept to a min – Ensure work practices adhere to health/safety regulations – good hygiene & sanitation standards are maintained – Manage staff timekeeping/absenteeism/disciplinary matters by implementing progressive disciplinary system as required – Pro-actively identify potential machine problems to min breakdowns and implement preventative maintenance measures – Effectively deal with general staff queries/problems/issues and grievances, counselling employees when required – Assist with identifying/implementing training interventions of factory personnel – Inspect product-in-process against quality specifications – Training needs are identified to enhance quality awareness – Compliance to organisational policies and procedures – Health & Safety, Quality etc. – Good working relationships and active participation in meetings and problem-solving – Effective communication with others – Identify/communicate training needs of departmental staff – Positive attitude, self- driven/open-minded approach – Structured/systematic in task completion to ensure general efficiency/accuracy – Collect/critically evaluate info to enhance performance and productivity – Strict but fair when dealing with disciplinary issues – Pro-actively identifying and efficiently solving problems for improved manufacturing efficiencies – Knowledge of manufacturing practices/related policies, procedures/regulations – Knowledge of quality concepts, policies, procedures/auditing requirements (ISO) – Knowledge of machinery spec, capacity and common causes of equipment failure – Knowledge of/compliance with applicable statutory requirements (BCEA / OHSA) – Responsibility: Please Email your CV in MS Word Format to [email protected] and include a Photograph of yourself MIN REQUIREMENTS – Diploma in Production / Operations Management – Alternatively BTech Production/Operations Manager – Basic computer skills in MS Office – Min 5 years exp in similar position in FMCG – Experienced SA ID Qualified PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR PRIMARY PURPOSE – Implement and supervise the company manufacturing process – Supervise work group to produce company products – Supervise the implementation of Quality Assurance requirements – Staff Management requirements – Ensure that production data is accurately recorded on shift i.e.
