We currently have a full-time, permanent employment opportunity available for a PR and Marketing Coordinator who will have the following tasks and responsibilities:
You will be responsible for organising the marketing and public relations efforts of Osidon.
You will be responsible to build new strong relationships with the media and also maintain existing relationships.
You will connect with external stakeholders such as the media and clients in order to create and build meaningful relationships and to increase Osidon’s brand recognition and loyalty.
Manage the relationship Osidon holds with the public and its current / prospective clients.
You will work with management to develop effective marketing campaigns.
Write, design and edit all press documents and releases.
Collect and analyse data and metrics to provide reports to management on the success and performance in the areas of public relations, marketing and customer satisfaction.
Be responsible for organising, planning and executing events.
You will form part of a team that uses the latest technology and innovation to ensure professional service delivery.
You will work under the supervision of dynamic management team who will provide you with a platform to you to excel in your career.
You will make a real difference as part of the Osidon Team assisting the company to deliver a groundbreaking service to SMME business and to support our SMME heroes in their journey of creating jobs and prosperity in their community.
Qualifications and General:
National Senior Certificate.
A NQF 7 accredited tertiary qualification in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations or related field.
Own reliable transport.
A clear criminal record.
Membership at PRISA will be beneficial.
At least three to five (3-5) years experience in the field of public relations, communications and marketing.
You must must have excellent English communication skills in verbal and written format.
You must have experience in digital marketing campaigns.
Have a creative mind.
Be able to easily understand and utilise technology, social media and marketing platforms.
Professionalism toward clients, colleagues and the profession.
Ability to easily connect and build relationships with people.
You must also have a charismatic and confident personality.
Have a broad understanding of business.
Be a self-driven individual.
Must be able to work in a team.
