The Construction Department is in charge of all wind farm projects from start to completion. The team takes responsibility for a wind farm once a contract has been signed – and remains responsible until the final tests are completed.
Working closely with the Logistics, Procurement and Finance Departments, the team has to keep the project on budget and on schedule and ensures that our rigorous safety and quality standards are met.
As the Project Coordinator you will therefore be closely liaising with internal (Engineering, Sales, Service) and external (authorities, customers, suppliers) stakeholders.
This position will be based on a limited contract as a maternity leave cover from September 2019 to min. March 2020.
Responsibilities
Represent the organization towards Customers and Subcontractors project management in projects related correspondence, meetings, negotiations
Active and independent support of Project Manager in ensuring the key objectives for each project including profitability, cash flow and time
Develop and monitor projects time plans as well as establish action and recovery plans to ensure compliance with internal targets
Ensure the establishment of the project execution vision & strategy, based on the contract, in order to achieve the project performance goals
Make sure that a contract management plan is defined and delivered on project level, as well as a project quality plan and project documentation
Support the implementation of new processes and procedures in Vestas project management and site installation and support customs clearance
Ordering of materials and services for the windfarm, follow up on purchase orders and deliveries incl. communication with external suppliers
Qualifications
Graduated in a science- or engineering field or commercial apprenticeship
Several years’ experience in a position with similar responsibilities
Contractual knowledge will be appreciated
Fluent English in writing and speaking
Willingness to dive into technical details and topics; Willingness to travel
Competencies
Customer focused mindset and strong analytical skills
Highly organised, structured and with good attention to detail
