Our client has a position for a General Stock room Assistant

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS :

Matric/Grade 12

Well organized,

Fluent communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Clean Criminal record

Valid Identification

2 to 3 plus years stockroom/warehouse experience

Ability to lift heavy objects (physically fit and strong)

Safety oriented

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :

Perform stockroom assistant duties in a warehouse setting

Take stock of incoming materials and supplies as per invoice

Bag and pack materials in a stockroom for customer delivery

Receive and store shipping materials

Assist the delivery of stockroom materials to internal and external customers

Ensure accuracy in physical verification of stocks

Implement safety standards in handling customers’ stock

Check-in product deliveries, provide an accurate accounting of quantities and items received to assure that receiving records reflect an accurate accounting of goods delivered

Follow all safety guidelines to ensure safe work practices are used at all times

REMUNERATION :

R13000 CTC as well as Provident Benefits, Shift allowance and overtime
