Reservationist / Receptionist urgently needed: Salary R8 000 per month

Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a strong reservationist/receptionist for a 4* hotel in the Central Drakensberg.

Requirements:

Strong OPERA reservations experience as the right candidate will be acting as relief reservationist to begin
Matric
Formal hospitality qualification
At least 2 years experience in a 4/5 star hotel in Front Office, 1 year in reservations
The hotel will consider a highly experienced-based candidate should the candidate have 5 years experience in front of the house and 2 years in reservations with no formal qualifications
At least a year of working reservations on Opera
Experience with the different booking platforms ie. booking.com is an advantage
Fluent in English – written and verbal
Computer literate
Eye for detail
Able to work well under pressure
Good admin and numerical skills
A good common sense
Able to work independently
Highly professional in manner and appearance at all times
Fantastic guest relations experience – calm nature when handling difficult clients
Team player
Positive attitude
Good time management
Happy to work shift work & flexibility with hours worked and weekends
Our client will only consider candidates who live up to 2.5 hours away from the property due to weekly leave days

Package:

Salary offered is between R8000.00
Single accommodation with TV
All meals
Laundry
Tea/Coffee making facilities
Telephone
Six days off a month – these will be taken on a weekly basis not a monthly basis
