Introduction
Reporting to the Finance Reporting Manager, this position provides information and assistance for the preparation of the Group Reporting Accounts and Annual Financial Statements

Specification
Key Accountabilities for this role:
Follow and complete month end procedures
Standard journals are processed
Accruals are processed
Balance sheet accounts are reconciled accurately to agreed deadline
Asset register maintained
Discrepancies on accounts investigated and resolved within the month
Supporting documentation filed accurately
Preparation of Group reporting accounts Assist with the investigation and resolution of payment rejections
Liaise with auditors and commercial teams
Finalise year-end UK pack
Help draft schedules for draft AFS for all entities
Test and question reporting process flow
Troubleshoot and answer adhoc questions received from regional branches

Requirements
The successful candidate must be able to clearly demonstrate the following working knowledge and understanding:

Financial Accounting
Management Accounting
Statutory Reporting & Returns
Extensive reconciliation experience and the ability to investigate unreconciled items
This person must be detail-oriented, must be able to work with very large volumes, able to work under pressure and must be deadline-driven.
Audit preparation
SAP and MS Excel experience
Foreign Exchange
