Sales Manager
MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION
Managing Sales Staff. It is the responsibility of the sales manager to guide and motivate the sales team to achieve their required daily targets.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Sales and Leads report – shows dialled, uploaded/sold, talk time, avg talk time and conversions – needs to be ready for morning meetings
Hold daily morning meetings with the team
Make sure all agents are dialling straight after morning meeting
All Agents are on the dialler by 8am
Distribute ALL Hot SMS Campaigns at 09:15 and hourly after 9 – Keep the Hot SMS list updated
Manage punctuality and update attendance register and email HR if any absenteeism daily
As soon as agent resigns, make sure letter of resignation with date of last day is given to HR. Ensure you have written confirmation of receipt from HR
If agent is AWOL for 3 days in a row, you need to notify HR immediately via email, so they can send out abscondment letter.
Monitor the floor to ensure agents are dialling, not on personal phone calls, not using their cell phones, not talking between themselves, using internet. This must be done every hour.
Ensure the board is updated hourly and verify these sales have been captured
Ensure board is updated with MTD figures
Update board with Sales per product – Campaign Board
Make sure all agents are dialling straight after morning Tea
Update board with Sales per product – Campaign Board
Sales and Leads report – shows dialled, uploaded/sold, talk time, avg talk time and conversions
Make sure all agents are dialling straight after Lunch
Update board with Sales per product – Campaign Board
Mtd agents performance report -Performance management if agents are below the required target
Make sure all agents are dialling straight after afternoon Tea
Update board with Sales per product – Campaign Board
Sales and Leads report – shows dialled, uploaded/sold, talk time, avg talk time and conversions
Ensure all agents sales are captured before the agent leave for the day
SMS Reconciliation daily report – Check Seo totals vs Centrestone
Disposition Report – All previous days leads are listened to and feedback is submitted to management daily and give feedback to agents in the morning meeting.
Daily Sales Summary – Broken down per campaign
Ensure all agents have New leads in their queues to start dialling the following morning
REQUIRED:
Grade 12
At least 2 years Call Centre supervisory experience
Must have short term insurance outbound sales experience
FAIS preferably in the motor industry/ short term industry
Excellent communication skills – both written and oral.
Prioritization, time management and organizational skills
Computer literate; MS Office package.
Excellent leadership qualities, persuasiveness and motivational skills

Own transport needed
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
· Understanding of Motor warranty and Service plan will be preferential
PERSONAL QUALITIES:
· Self-driven person who can take initiative with minimal guidance
· Proactive – capable of identifying and initiating change
· Positive and energetic
· Structured and detail orientated but able to work in an unstructured environment
