Responsibilities:

Receive deliveries
Verify goods (mechanical, E&I, and other) delivered and received against orders placed and delivery notes
Basic inspection of goods, e.g. check for damaged goods, etc.
Ensure proper crating and packaging of goods for export to Zambia
Check and control loading of trucks and chaining down of goods for safe transport to site
Daily record keeping, e.g. number of trucks dispatched from various transport companies
General administration, daily & weekly reports
Tracking and tracing of Repair and Return Unit – ensuring correct cross boarder details
Applying for SADAC documents where required
Manage and organise emergency units
Manage Supplier Returns
Manage and Process Site Returns
Process system Receiving and Returns

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of 5 years’ working experience in a Materials Controller role or similar; preferably within the mining sector
Knowledge of Engineering and construction terminology
Grade 12 completed
Diploma in Warehousing, Stock or Logistics
MS Office (MS Word & MS Excel) proficient
