Heaven and Earth Trails is a small but vibrant horse trail business 9km outside Hermanus in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. We are the top trail business in the area and we are in need of a part-time trail guide to help us grow into the best in the Western Cape. ( www.heavenandearthtrails.co.za )The main duties will include taking clients (most of our clients are from the international community) on guided trails with our team of horses ranging from 1-5 hours, schooling/training the horses during the week, marketing/bookings and general stable duties.

The ideal candidate should be an experienced rider with exceptional horsemanship skills. Since we work mainly with tourists we require someone that is fluent in English, friendly and has great communication skills.

We require our guides to have level 1 first aid as a minimum standard. Ideal age group 19-35. Remuneration is based on commission and there is a Cottage as part of the package. Different trails have different commission structures but on average commission range between R250 and R400 per client. Remuneration will be discussed in more detail during the interview.
