We are currently seeking a Senior Warehouse Officer

Specific Skills/ Qualifications:
Senior Certificate
Experience with Goods retrieval systems.
Skilled at boosting team morale and managing people.
Hands-on approach and on-the-job experience of all aspects of warehouse work.
Computer skills
Excellent communication skills ( verbal and written)
Leadership skills
Ability to ensure the timely stocking of materials and products
Strong third-party vendor negotiation abilities
Strong communication skills with ability to assist in managing and leading a multicultural factory team
High level task prioritisation organizational skills
Listening skills
Customer-focused
Analytical, deadline-oriented with problem-solving skills
Solid understanding of distribution and warehouse procedures and material handling functions
Thorough knowledge of supplier fulfillment capabilities
Detail conscious and organized
Ability to delegate and ensure task execution.

Key Tasks:
Inform workers of management conditions of work, rules and regulations and ensure adherance to company policies, and take disciplinary measures as required
Collate and distribute attendance records to management
Give workers detailed feedback on their level of performance
Constantly inspect all work equipment to identify shortages and damages, and relate findings to management for quick resolution to enable smooth flow of operations.
Place order for new equipment as directed by management, and inspect them upon delivery to ensure that they are of good quality and in the right quantity.
Step in to resolve conflicts that may arise between workers on site, and exhibit a good sense of judgment to ensure that parties involved are treated fairly, maintaining confidentiality and tact
Keep accurate records of workers performance
Check all outgoing stocks to ensure that they are in good condition and ensure that all documents are accurately signed for proper documentation.
Ensure that stock inventory is carried out in a timely manner and that it is in line with the stock balance
Monitor and ensure the achievement of goals, objectives, and timelines.
