We are in need of an experienced Barista to work in our canteen/restaurant in Roodekop near Leondale (Germiston). We are looking for someone presentable with a warm and welcoming personality who understands great customer service. Experience is essential. Working hours 6 am to 3 pm Monday to Saturday.

Barista may be required to work long hours as we’re also an event and catering group. Duties: Taking and serving of customer orders as required Preparation and serving of coffee, teas and various other hot and cold drinks Serving of various cakes and pastriesOrdering and receiving of stock Perform stock counts and ensure stock balances at all times Ensuring stock has been GRV as per procedure Maintain FIFO principles for all product Operate the till, accurate handling of cash and daily cash upEnsuring store, workstation, and work areas are always clean, neat and tidy Follow and maintain hygiene standards General clerical duties like assisting the chefs and perform any other duties as required by Canteen Manager.

Requirements: 2 Years Barista experience is ESSENTIAL Customer interaction and Retail/Hospitality experience would be advantageous Computer literacy Knowledge of Pilot system High level of numeracyPrevious Barista/coffee making qualification would be beneficial Prepared To Work Long Hours / Shifts when required.
