Job Description

Sparrow Schools, a private LSEN provider, requires the services of an experienced Mathematics teacher at The Foundation School.

Core Requirements:

The suitable candidate must possess a recognised teaching qualification that allows the individual to teach Mathematics in the Intersen phase at a Primary school.
A Valid SACE membership is required
Skills needed to successfully fill this position:

Ability to work with learners with special educational needs
Ability to adapt content and curriculum to meet the needs of the learner
Ability to work within well-defined structures and procedures to lead to a successful learning output.
Ability to guide and mentor teachers in foundation phase to improve teaching and learning
Ability to create assessment and lesson planning calendars for a team
Ability to manage workshops for staff on core teaching and learning issues
Preference will be given to applicants who meet all of the above requirements.
