Supporting branch operations by providing effective telephone and reception services to clients and staff. Providing operational and administrative support service by processing proof of delivery documentation and cash on delivery banking and providing administrative assistance. Thus also providing freight operations support by delivering client support and administering operational duties.
Key Outputs:
providing a telephone service to clients and inhouse clients (staff)
Maintaining the reception area and by receiving visitors
Delivering client support services
Administering operational procedures
Supervising pre-delivery loading procedures
Monitoring delivery and collection procedures
Supervising of vehicle debriefing / off loading procedures
Assisting with and monitoring delivery and collection procedures
Processing collections
Providing ad hoc administrative assistance
Processing freightware system data
Processing proof of delivery documentation
Processing cash on delivery banking
Providing administrative assistance
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications:
Grade 12 – essential
2 years experience – preferred logistics/courier service
2 years reception / general administration experience
Computer literate – MS Office – Intermediate level
Valid drivers licence code 10 preferred
Ability to handle call-outs in the evenings and weekends
Willing to assist with driving/loading and off-loading when required
