Ixopo – KZN: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a disciplined and motivated candidate to join the management team in Ixopo.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Compile weekly planting programs; despatch lists and work instructions.

Development and maintenance of the nursery software program used at Sutherland Seedlings

Process and confirm orders placed by our customers

Manage the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, including monitoring of quality objectives and records.

Inventory control for seedlings, potted trees and retail products.

Manage the production and sales of the potted tree section of the nursery

Prepare the nursery for annual ISO 9001:2015 and Seedling Grower Association audits

Key requirements for the position:

Have excellent customer relations skills

Should work well in a team environment

Have excellent time management and organisational skills

Be competent with various computer software programs, such as Microsoft Word; Excel; Outlook and preferably Pastel Accounting Software

A basic understanding of Zulu would be beneficial

Have a love of plants and desire to work in the horticulture industry
