Letslink Medical Recruitment Services is assisting a Medical Scheme that is seeking to employ a Clinical Pre Authorization Consultant based in Pretoria East.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial and clinical risks of the patient in a general ward by ensuring accurate coding, clinical updates and accounts submissions of patient hospitalization to achieve strategic objectives.

Required Skills:
private hospital setting
Pre- Authorisation /Case Management
Knowledge of Medical Scheme Act
ICD-10 and CPT 4 coding

Candidate Requirements

Job requirements:

Grade 12
A diploma/ Degree in General Nursing
Knowledge of the Medical Schemes Act
Knowledge of CPT-4 and ICD-10 codes RPL
2 years + experience in a Private Hospital
Pre Authorisation / Case Management experience
Computer literate
Good verbal and written English skills as well as proficiency in understanding.
They are offering a cost to company salary of between R26000 and R35000 depending on qualifications and experience.
