Job Title: Administrator – Harm Reduction Program (10 positions)
Location: Tshwane

Department: Health System Strengthening
Reporting to: District Coordinator PWID Program

Purpose of the position:

To assist the District Coordinator in the roll-out and implementation of PWID program; enroll
OST/PrEP/ART patients; recording patient file information related to the PWID program.

Main responsibilities:

Mobilize and promote PWID programme activities
Recruit PWID for HTS and perform POC rapid testing
Recruit PWID for prevention services
Recruit PWID for opioid substitution therapy and refer to Registered Nurse
Distribute needles and syringes as part of harm reduction program
Provide peer support to PWID as per PWID guidelines
Search and locate clients who have defaulted and reintroduce to care
Facilitate community Advisory Group Sessions
Refer and accompany PWID to Health Care Worker to ensure linkage and wound care
Engage and work with community-based Health facilities and implementing partners
Safekeeping of all client information and ensure confidentiality
Attend community-based meetings and facilitate community dialogues when requested to
do

Perform all administrative duties related to harm reduction program implementation.
Record PWID information on registers
Record PWID prevention sessions and submit it to the site coordinator
Attend monthly supervision sessions with the site coordinator

Requirements:

Proficiency in reading, speaking and writing English
Proficiency in MS Office and MS Outlook
Report writing and business writing level proficiency
Proficiency in another local language will be advantageous
