ROLE PURPOSE
Accurately capture data in order to support the region and processing all the administrative tasks according to agreed standards and turnaround times.
REQUIREMENTS
Matric
Proficient of Ms Office, Word, Excel, Outlook
1-year administrative experience in a sales, marketing or service environment
Proficiency in data capturing and typing.
Knowledge of long term insurance products and services (preferred)
Ability to speak African languages (preferred)
RESPONSIBILITIES AND WORK OUTPUTS
Accurately capture and check new business documentation.
Collate, compile and distribute documents to the required standards within defined time-frames
Maintain and control an effective office administration system.
Attend to all queries in a professional and friendly manner in order to provide an excellent client experience
Screen and route all queries received to appropriate stakeholders
Maintain the relevant office housekeeping standards
Escalate faults/errors on applications to Line Manager
Distribute documentation to the relevant internal stakeholder within the agreed timeframes.
Performing all administrative tasks to agreed standards and ensure proper controls are kept for new business applications received or handed back
Providing feedback to the manager of trends and practices and breaches in the compliance requirement of business submitted
Providing feedback on the status of applications i.e. outstanding requirements and errors
Provide updates on how many applications issued and processed
Be vigilant around practices in breach of compliance specifically with business submitted
Ensure technical product and legislative knowledge is always current
Timeously complete all administrative and reporting duties, relating status of applications issued/processedDevelop and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with peers and stakeholders
Positively influence and participate in change initiatives
Continuously develop own expertise in terms of professional, industry and legislation knowledge
Contribute to continuous innovation through the development, sharing and implementation of new ideas
Take ownership for driving career development
Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency
Provide input into the risk identification processes and communicate recommendations to the Line Management
