Our client a national packaging company seeks a production shift setter to join their dynamic team.
Assisting in achieving a production efficiency
Assisting in ensuring that raw material wastage levels are maintained
Setting machines
Conducting mould and material trails as required
Reporting and assisting with machine and mould maintenance requirements
Ensuring that machinery and moulds are effectively maintained, serviced and stored
Practicing a high standard of housekeeping and safety
Work overtime if and when required
Assist in other responsibilities if and when required

REQUIREMENTS

N4 is essential and an N% would be an advantage
At least 2 years of work experience in production and/or manufacturing
Mechanical aptitude and experience is essential
Ability to work with PLC, AC/DC drives will be an advantage in this position
Must be able to work shifts with own transport
Will preferably suit a candidate residing in the Durban West Area
