Requirements:

Relevant Construction Trade Test
Valid code B or EB driver’s license
Computer Literacy
3-5 Years’ experience in relevant trade (as per KPA’s below)
Willingness to work overtime and outside normal working hours as and when required

Willingness to work in all weather conditions

Key Performance Areas:

Performing complex activities that involves designing, constructing, repairing, fabricating, fault finding and diagnostics

Operational Functions: Interprets and co-ordinates specific pre-work/ site requirements with regards to repairs and, planned and predictive maintenance sequence

Providing guidelines and specific instructions to personnel with respect to the preparation of work site for major/ minor works

Information Recording: Completes internal transactional documentation (e.g. timesheets, progress and productivity field report, etc.) and related forms (vehicle checklist)

Referring to work schedules and registers to correct deviations in entries detected during processing

Vehicle Operations: Performs specific tasks associated with the operation of heavy and/ or specialized equipment

(Crane Trucks etc.) and monitoring the off-loading of equipment

Construction and Installation/ Planned and Predictive
Maintenance: Co-ordinates activities associated with the construction and repairs to buildings

Inspecting works prior to hand over and communicating with the immediate supervisor with regards to the final product

Working out of quotations and costing of goods
Fault Finding: Co-ordinates activities/ sequences associated with troubleshooting/ fault finding and repairing faults to structures
