The key knowledge required is:
Payroll administration – however from an HR Data Management perspective.
Experience in complying with substantive agreements from an administrative perspective – especially with the MEIB bargaining council compliance.
Experience working in an HR generalist environment and a unionized environment.

Minimum Grade 12.
National Diploma in HR Management will be considered an advantage.
Certificate in payroll administration specifically VIP Sage system.
3-5 years experience in administrating and maintaining a HR Information Management System.
Proven track record of working in a generalist Human Resources environment.
Strong action orientation ability.
Excellent organizational skills including the ability to manage time and prioritize effectively.
Excellent numeracy skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Well developed interpersonal skills to engage with people from diverse backgrounds.
Display commendable ethics and integrity.
Able to work appropriately with confidential and sensitive information.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong IT skills, skilled in MS Word and Excel packages as well as VIP Sage
Ability to work independently and on own initiative within specified guidelines and processes.
Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
Ability to perform under pressure.
Must enjoy working in a manufacturing environment within a multicultural workplace.
