Our client, who is an Orthopaedic Surgeon, has a position available for an experienced Receptionist/Secretary to join their team in Parktown (Jhb North)

Responsibilities:

Timeous preparation & submission of Theatre Lists to hospitals.
Preparation of admission documents and requirements.
Timeously arrange for Anesthetists, assistants & ancillary support to be available at the required times on operation days
Booking patients’ appointments at the rooms & facilitating clinics
Capture patients’ medical reports & any relative correspondence
Answer telephone – must have good telephone skills
Manage email communications
Manage diary including travel arrangements – flight & accommodation bookings, etc. both national & international

Skills and Qualifications:

Highly organized with the ability to work well under pressure.
Must be flexible and proactive.
Professional with good people skills.
Excellent command of English (Afrikaans an additional advantage)
Team player.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Office
Computer literacy essential.
Ability to adapt to new systems.
Driver’s license.
Own reliable transport
Previous experience a distinct advantage

Salary:

R 15 000.00 – R 30 000.00 Per Month Basic Salary
(Negotiable, depending on experience, expertise, and competence)
