Foreman Sewer needed immediately: Salary R10 000 to R13 000 per month

Duties & Responsibilities:

Supervise operational plans to coordinate and optimize the utilization of the area’s resources for all fields work to be undertaken.
Monitor and supervise the quality, standard and productivity levels for all fieldwork by doing site inspections and job assessments.
Ensure that work orders and defects are prioritized and executed for repairs and maintenance.
Investigate and report on industrial effluent compliance issues.
Participate in the planning and coordination of company policies and procedures relating to the sewer network.
Supervise and control personnel according to policies and procedures.
Liaise with customers, members of public and councillors on sewer related issues.
Ensure that the productivity levels and cost are kept within estimated and targets by supervising and controlling standby, overtime, leave and absenteeism.
Ensure all operations are carried out within statutory requirements as laid down in the OHSA.

Qualifications and experience:

Grade 12 or N3 (NQF4)+ Plumbing trade test certificate/Appropriate Learnership NQF 4
3 years of relevant experience in Sewer operations including maintenance and construction of sewer reticulation of which 1 year must be at supervisory level.
Code EB driver’s license
