The Receptionist is responsible for answering the incoming calls in a professional and friendly manner as well as liaising and communicating at all levels and to adapt and respect all cultures.
Administrative duties which include but not limited to:
General Administration
Switchboard duties
Discharge / Transfer of patients
Create and update files
Complies monthly stats
Takes minutes at meetings.
Controls stationary budget
Stock control
Liaising with laundry, maintenance, and kitchen services
Assist Unit Managers with monitoring of off-duties, leave and cost containment.
A practical, mature and level headed administrator with an understanding of nursing is needed to provide support base to the needs of management, doctors, staff and all relevant customers.
Education
Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 Qualification plus post Grade 12 Qualification
Work Experience
1-2 years experience on a similar position
Knowledge of SAP advantageous
Computer Literacy (Ms Word, Excel, Emails etc)
