Stores and Procurement Manager required for an opening of a 5* Hotel.
To assist with the procurement of all hotel and station restaurant requirements as well as for inventory and store management. This will include sourcing, procuring, warehousing and distributing. They will also be responsible for the management of a team of stores and warehouse assistants.
Position above reports to Concession GM, Financial Manager
Skills and Requirements
A formal qualification in Food Safety, for example HACCP or equivalent
Negotiate procurement deals
Effectively train and manage staff
Help develop procurement policies and abide by them
Ability to demonstrate a flexible approach to getting work done, adjusting to changing circumstances and demands
Maintains a positive outlook in most challenging situations and circumstances
Work under pressure

Develop policies, processes, and standards to ensure effective high-quality Procurement service is provided to the Hotel
Develop and implement processes to understand the Procurement needs and expectations of the operation to provide guests with the highest quality of service and product.
Together with the Financial Manager IT Administrator and Procurement personnel set up, update and maintain the Hotel Procurement software, documentation and filing system and the interface with the Accounts function
Develop and implement processes that facilitate an immediate response to Procurement requests received from the Hotel departments
Provide direction, oversight, and guidance to the Procurement and Operations teams on the procurement function
