Supervisory and interpersonal: 8 to 9 years

Candidate Requirements

Minimum requirements:

·Relevant National Diploma or Grade 12 + NQF 4 in Construction Supervision or equivalent experience.

·At least 8 – 10 years relevant experience in the Civil Construction Industry.

·Experience and knowledge of the application of various project specifications, products and processes used in Civil Construction.

·Experience in the efficient utilisation of resources and sub-contractors.

·Experience in the management and implementation of formwork.

·Financial planning and costing skills.

·Proven supervisory and inter-personal skills.

·The ability to meticulously follow and implement systems and procedures.

·Attention to quality control.

·Ability to plan, organise, and control all site systems.

·Strong ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.

·Ability to manage health and safety on projects.

·Strong computer literacy (particularly MS Excel).

·Ability to achieve challenging targets.

·Willingness and ability to relocate/ travel for unspecified periods.

·Flexibility in terms of working hours.

·Ability to speak, read and write in English.

·Valid Code EB driver’s license.

Head office is based in Western Cape, however, successfully incumbents will be required to operate nationally and work away from home.
