Our client, a slimming, wellness and beauty salon in Port Elizabeth is seeking to employ Beauty Therapist.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for achieving retail sales targets
Ensure aftercare recommendations are made
Encourage clients to return by recommending ongoing treatment options
Cross-selling
Maintain knowledge of all treatments, packages and any promotions.
Participate in demos events when required.
Follow up on clients after their visit
Cold call clients to encourage them to return
Actively find new clients by promoting themselves and salon
Treatment Standards/Operations

Perform all treatments at an exceptional standard.
Update own knowledge of products and treatment standards, outside of formal training.
Carry out an in-depth consultation with each client prior to treatment, ensuring medical history and concerns are identified.
Protect the client’s experience by moving quietly around the treatment room and in the salon.
Use the correct quantities of products as specified and not exceed that amount.
Maintain layout and product levels in the treatment rooms, ensuring trolleys are stocked, clean and organized as per the salon standards.
Health, Safety & Hygiene

Perform all treatments in a professional, hygienic and safe manner for all clients, updating knowledge and training regularly.
Responsible for the cleanliness, sterilization, and hygiene of all equipment, products, and beds in the treatment rooms.

Skills, Qualifications, and Requirements:

Grade 12 / Std.10 certificate
Certification/Diploma as a Beauty Therapist
Minimum of 2 years working experience in the star spa/ hotel environment/ cruise liners
CIDESCO/CIBTAC/SAABHH highly advantageous
Knowledge of ESP POS advantageous
