No possible to define the location under indeed however the project is in Somalia.

Company will require installation supervisors for the installation of a 1 MW Solar PV plant in Somalia. The project is meant to last about 4 to 5 months.

Accommodation, transportation, security will be provided by the company.

Job specification:

– supervise a team of 5 to 15 people (local people from Somalia)

– assist and supervise the installation of:

+ the structure (element carrying the solar panels)

+ the solar PV panels

+ the ducting and cabling for the DC cables

+ the inverters

+ earthing and lightning protection equipment

+ the LV DB boards

+ all racking, cable trays

+ AC cabling

+ all cabling and termination

+ communication/control and weather equipment (switches, antenna, etc)

– read drawings and provide directions to the team in place

– quality check the work as per drawings

– provide daily reporting to the project leader on-site and project team in South-Africa

Candidates must be well organized, autonomous, capable of thinking outside the box to solve any situation, have attention to detail and obey safety rules. Candidates must have good communication skills to work with the labour teams in the country.

Candidates must have prior construction / electrical or solar experience and be willing to work abroad.
