Duties & Responsibilities
Executive Housekeeper wanted for 5* prestigious flagship property resort!!!!!
We are in search of an Executive Housekeeper who will be responsible for all housekeeping operations for a large 5* resort property.
The overall function of the Executive Housekeeper is to manage the housekeeping operation and its team members, namely Assistant ExHousekeeping Supervisor, Room Attendant, and Laundry Attendants). Secondary Functions include, but not limited to the following:
KPI’s for Executive Housekeeper
Ensure standards, policies and procedures are in compliance with the brand
Inspects and reports all repair needs to the Maintenance Department
Opening and closing of the Housekeeping Department
Performs, assigns and distributes daily room and key assignments to Team Members
Maintain Inventory supplies and equipment to include monthly linen inventory
Plans work schedules to ensure adequate service, while maintaining budgeted hours
Effectively communicates company policies to Team Members and enforces safety regulations
Hold all employees accountable through coaching, counselling and progressive discipline
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements include:
5-10 years 5* Experience is essential
Planning, organizing, and ability to delegate
PC literate
Valid SA Drivers License
Labour relations
Basic budgetary experience
2-4 previous operational management experience (ideally within the Hotel industry)
