SURGICAL BUYER / STOCK CONTROLLER – Private hospital experience essential
Employment: Permanent
Location: Pretoria East, Gauteng
Salary: R 16 000 plus benefits (Pension Fund 50% contribution and Medical Aid 60% contribution)
Essential requirements:
2 Years of previous experience in a similar position at a Private Hospital
Hospital procurement and expedition of stock experience
Stock control and inventory management of a private hospital experience
Previously dealt with all service providers in a professional manner, e.g. Doctors needs and preferences.
Ensure optimum and accurate stock levels
Supervise consignment/loan stock
Check expiry dates on medical and surgical products
Cycle counts
Co-ordinate and manage stock-takes
Co-ordinate and manage overall stock in Pharmacy and various wards.
Qualifications:
Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent certificate
Skills:
Sound judgment
Pro-active approach to problem-solving and decision making
Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office
An ability to work under high pressure
Assertive presence
Sound interpersonal relations
Willingness to work overtime for time to time
