Golf Concierge – someone who has a positive service-orientated attitude and a passion for this industry.

The position requires that the candidate have a minimum qualification of Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4 qualification, with 1 years’ experience working in a golf environment. The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator, have good people skills, must be able to provide guests/members with excellent service and must be reliable, honest and organised.

Successful candidates must be able to multi-task and perform various general golf duties (starter, driving range operator, drink cart operator, etc.).

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

Receive stock, cash up at end of day with daily stock checks and post difference to relevant account charge and then cash-up
Control speed of play on the golf courses
Assist golfers with local or general rules of golf
Ensure that golfers adhere to the etiquette of the game, sandbags are filled, each golfer has his own clubs and those golfers are dressed as per Fancourt rules
Ensure that the player amenities are in good supply
Some administrative duties.

Must be fit and able to carry out all reasonable duties associated with this role.

Successful candidates must be able to work long and late hours on request.
