Brief Description:
Dynamic, driven group of individuals with strong customer focus.
Responsible for strategy formulation.P&L responsibility for the business. Strict control over budget including developments costs, travel and other expenses. Drive operational excellence. Overall management of all company activities. Marketing of company brands. Finalisation of tender submissions.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
A Bachelors or higher degree in Accounting and/or Business Management
CA / MBA will be advantageous
Previous experience in the engineering construction industry will be an advantage
An additional qualification in engineering and/or construction management will be an advantage
A minimum of ten years ‘experience in a senior/executive management role with P&L responsibility
Excellent commercial acumen
Track record of successfully leading companies with a headcount of aroud 900 employees
In depth insight into contract laws in the construction industry
Able to travel extensively domestically and internationally
Priority on health, safety and the environment
Able to give guidance to re-engineer, simplify and upgrade current processes – we want someone who wants to make changes and improvement
A strong background in identifying and recommending new practices/methods of business operations
Must be able to understand complex business models and strong ability to interpret data and foresee future outcomes
Able to implement comprehensive and integrated accounting policies and procedures in a large and complex organization.
