Overview of key activities:

Housekeeping
Stock control
Week cycle counting
Monthly stock taking
Stock/system reconciliation
Stock / Store planning
Resolving stock queries
Inspection of goods upon receival
Labelling of stock
Keeping track of usage and expiry dates of products
Implementing FIFO systems
Organizing waste collections with suppliers
Monitoring diesel usage, dip readings and re-orderings
Maintaining minimum stock levels and re-ordering when required
Request new material codes as new products are delivered
Interact with suppliers

Requirements:

2 years of relevant experience.
Pastel proficient or experience in some on a similar system such as Syspro, SAP or Baan.
Driver’s license as you will be required to drive between the two locations.
Attention to detail as a lack of stock accuracy can be costly to the business.
