We are looking for an extraordinary, ambitious receptionist to join the Ignite Tribe.
Minimum Requirements:
Matric
2 years experience in reception in a customer-facing role (preferably in the fitness industry)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (telephone skills, internal communications, and client relationships).
willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
Trustworthy, honest, punctual and respectful
Demonstrate sound work ethic
Job Description
Member queries
Payments processing (credit card, cash)
Issue of receipts
Follow banking procedures
Follow procedures on handover of cash and reception at the beginning and end of each shift.
Assist members with general account queries
This includes: explaining the policies, terms, and conditions of the following
i.e.: membership freeze, cancellations, transfer of membership, change of details.
Refer to new potential members to the sales office.
Maintain a walk-in potential member list for the sales department.
Answer telephone, friendly efficient manner and transfer to the relevant department.
Capture member details such as photos and fingerprints.
Access Control
Regulate and monitor all members accessing and exiting the facility, check member is up to date on account.
Notify a member of any arrears, but do not get involved in making payment arrangements, keep updated notes in complaints book.
Involve debtors controller when need for payment plan.
Ensure all non-members that need to access the facility sign in on register.
