We are looking for a Financial Assistant to join our team.
A position has become available which is perfectly suited for somebody who is:
Highly accurate and organized
Meticulous, focused and disciplined
Positive, polite & enjoys working as part of a team
Wants to make a meaningful impact and takes pride in the work that they do
The position entails:
Finance-related work, data capturing and invoice processing
Financial reporting, reconciliations, and VAT
Providing friendly, prompt and professional assistance to clients
Coordinating with couriers and suppliers
General administrative duties as necessary
Assist with preparation of audit pack for yearly audits
Requesting monthly statements from 3rd parties
Working as part of a tight-knit team and providing your input to help shape the future of our company
All candidates must:
Be over 18 years of age & have a matric certificate
Have a relevant qualification and/or 3 years of relevant experience in the related field
High level of numerical, written proficiency and accuracy
Advanced experience with Excel and Sage would be a major advantage
Have a driver’s licence and their own transport
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent command of the English language with fluency in Afrikaans being advantageous
Be able to work in Somerset West, Western Cape full-time
Attitude trumps experience for us, though the experience is also an important factor. We work in a very fast-paced industry and there will be lots to learn.
Hiring Salary Ranges (dependent on relevant skills and experience):
Entry-Level: R7,000 – R10,000
Mid-Level: R10,000 – R13,000
Senior: R13,000 – R16,000
Room for further substantial career and salary growth, dependent on the candidate’s proficiency and ability to learn/innovate over time.
