The Job is full time at Shock Proof Investments. The job is mainly servicing clients as well as delivering orders to all customers/clients in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Polokwane & sometimes to Nelspruit. Great communication skills are required. The job is dealing with all Hardware Stores, Retail Outlets, Pallet Places & Timber Guys. We expect a lot of driving from you, from dropping off orders to clients as well as servicing clients. Then also making sure you growing your client base, so getting new hardware stores onboard or any clients. Continuously looking after your clients, visiting them, servicing them, keeping that relationship going, calling on clients & giving suggested orders weekly or monthly.
The job has to do with also lifting heavy steel products all day and loading your vehicle continuously. We need a person who is preferably strong/athletic and willing to go out of there way in helping get orders to clients everyday and also doing whatever is needed of them when asked or called upon from higher management. The job comes with a company car, so transport is provided. You need to be able to take stock every month and know whats in the warehouse, offload the truck twice or three times a month & able to use a computer to edit stock sheets, create order sheets, process order sheets, etc……
Sales Rep Requirements:
– A year of experience in Sales, Hardware Industry, Sales Rep.
– A Valid Driving License.
– English Speaking.
– Strong & Athletic.
– CV. (Previous experience, person to contact, job title, etc…)
– Very Trustworthy and Responsible.
– Some Sort of Degree, Diploma or Any Education Certificate Completed.
Role & Responsibilities:
– Technical background, able to use a computer very well. ( Micro-Soft Word, Excel, Emails, Stock Sheets, Orders, etc…)
– Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
– Excellent Teamwork Skills.
– Very Hard Working.
– Determined & Dedicated.
– Stock Take Every Month. ( Control Stock)
– Service Clients.
– Get New Clients.
– Must be able to travel 100% of the time. (Deliveries, Driving a lot, Seeking New Clients, Servicing, Collecting Stuff & Colleagues, etc…)
– To Take Instructions Effectively.
– Work on Weekends Now & Then.
– Give Reports/Feedback Monthly.
– Target/Goals Orientated.
