STORE SALES ASSISTANT wanted urgently: Salary R4 000 to R10 000 per month

We are looking for energetic sales assistants who are able to fill a diverse and exciting role and who live and believe in DELIVERING EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE TO EVERY CUSTOMER. As we are a startup, the next few months will be particularly busy and assistance with the setup will be required.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Greeting customers who enter the shop.
Be involved in stock control and management.
Following up with customer queries & orders.
Must have excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
Ensure individual targets are met consistently.
Being responsible for invoicing, processing cash and card payments.
Stocking shelves with merchandise.
Answering queries from customers.
Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers.
Keeping the store tidy and clean, this includes mopping.
Being able to deal with customer complaints.
Working within established guidelines, particularly with brands.
Attaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor.
Responsible for security within the store and being on the lookout for shoplifters and fraudulent credit cards etc.
Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays.
Identify new opportunities by taking a proactive approach
Ensure stock entries in the POS system are accurate.
Process customer orders.
Establish your customer’s needs and use your technical knowledge to demonstrate benefits to meet those needs.
Close the sale and secure add on sales.
Invite your customers back.
Receiving and storing stock.
Monitor your daily sales against your individual budget.
Product training will be provided.
*REQUIRED SKILLS:
Having a friendly and engaging personality.
Comfortable working with members of the public.
Should have a confident manner.
Must be helpful and polite.
Assistants should be physically fit as they will be on their feet for most of the day and may be required to lift large amounts of stock.
Able to work as part of a team.
Should be of a smart appearance and articulate in English and Afrikaans.
Senior certificate (Grade 12).
HOURS: Monday to Friday 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Saturday 8:00AM to 12:00PM
SALARY: R4000-00 + Commission Per Month
