Your Role
Responsibility is to prepare and examine the financial records. To provide financial information for internal use and to relevant managers.

A Typical Day

Prepare, examine and analyze accounting records.
To ensure that records and financial reports are in conformity with Electrolux standards and procedures.
Compute VAT owned/refundable, prepare VAT returns. Ensure compliance with payment and reporting.
Liaise with S.A. Revenue services regarding VAT inspections.
Resolve financial discrepancies and issues.
Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws.
Provide accounting support to the accounting department.
Support month-end and year-end close process
Provide supporting documentation for auditors

Who You Are

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
7-10 years working experience in Finance and Admin environment
Computer literate – MS Office and Excel
Strong communication ability (both written and spoken) (Fluency in Business English)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with colleagues across functions

Both reactive and proactive, you work accurate with attention to detail to deliver results.
With an eye for detail and the ability to interpret complex data, you can also translate this into meaningful, useful information that informs decision-making.
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.
Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close process.
Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skill.

Excellent accounting and software user and administration skills
