The Beverage Company is looking to build its database of suitable Warehouse Checker candidates. There is no guarantee of immediate placement of successful candidates. This will only come into effect when a position becomes available.

Role Purpose:
To load, unload and stack company products in a safe and productive manner and co-ordinate the accurate management of stock movement by receiving, counting and issuing stock while maintaining our governance and Customer service standards.

Specification
Key Accountabilities and Outputs

High-Level Day to Day Activity
Ensure efficient and accurate picking and loading of Distribution vehicles as per supporting documentation.
Ensure that vehicles are loaded and offload within the TAT standard.
Complete Trip Sheets/Returns Registers to confirm details of loaded, offloaded and returned stock.
Ensure adherence to the Distribution Load Plan.
Conduct stock verification prior to leaving premises and during offloading
Physically check stock and conduct inventory counts to highlight variances.
Ensure effective stock rotation and the application of FIFO within the warehouse.
Physical activity to the recorded in the ERP system to promote visibility and good governance.
Ensure processing of Inter Branch Transfers on ERP system
Debrief drivers as per standard operating practices.
Engage with the Warehouse Supervisor to execute loading in line with the Load Plan.
Equipment operated safely within Manufacturers specifications and compliant with the OHS Act.

Stakeholder Engagement
Maintain open communication channels with Sales, Debtors, Manufacturing and Distribution.

Health and Safety
Site housekeeping standards maintained using the 5S philosophy
Ensure adherence to site safety standards including PPE
Ensure compliance to all relevant legislation
Ensure adherence to site safety standards and critical member of Safety, Health and Environmental Committee in line with the OSH Act.
Ensure compliance to all relevant legislation and support a safe environment for LGBs Employees, Contractors, and Visitors.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:

Matric.
1-2 years of warehouse experience.
Good working experience on Microsoft Excel/Office.
