We are looking to hire a refuse collector waste packer to perform manual work in the collection of solid waste and do related work as required.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Manually collects lose and bagged waste and dumps into the rear loader trucks
Loads refuse onto trucks Cleans area around to keep tidy
Cleans refuse truck and equipment Cleans and washes trucks on a daily basis
Guides truck operator in congested areas Cautiously watches for oncoming traffic and politely uses hand signals to request vehicles to slow down or stop
Ensures all waste in the compactor is removed from compactor during disposal
Ensuring safe use of personal protective equipment at all times.
