A PBO seeks to appoint an Administrative Officer
Education: Senior Certificate with relevant post-matric qualification.
Experience: Min of 5 years’ rendering admin support
Knowledge of website design would be advantageous.
Knowledge/skills: Computer literacy (Ms Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc).
Knowledge of social media platforms and website editing advantageous.
Able to work independently, take minutes and execute duties accurately and thoroughly
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure. Good planning and organizational skills
High level of reliability.
Able to meet deadlines.
Excellent office and financial administration skills
Excellent verbal and written commun skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
Duties:
Provide an admin support service to the Manager and at meetings
Assist with financial administration.
Review, process and balance financial documentation Review relevant departmental prescripts and policies and ensure compliance and application thereof.
Typing of minutes, documents, reports and correspondence. Review and update social media platforms and websites Supervision of support staff
Effective records management.
Relief and other related duties
