Location: JHB CBD. | Availability: Immediately. | Contract duration: 01 week and 3 days. | Rate: Market-related.

Job brief:
We are looking for a Driver to transport boxes of documents in a comfortable, safe and timely manner.
Driver responsibilities include arranging boxes and loading them for delivery from one office building to the next within the Johannesburg CBD, arranging regular cleaning and maintenance services for the vehicle and planning each route based on road and traffic conditions.
To be considered for this role, you should have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record with no traffic violations and a clean credit record. Note that you don’t need to have a car; we provide drivers with our own vehicles.

Responsibilities:
o Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
o Pick up goods from the place and at the time they’ve requested
o Loading and unloading the boxes.
o Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions
o Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed
o Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues
o Book car wash and detailing services to maintain interior and exterior cleanliness of the car

Requirements:
o Proven experience as a Driver (Min: 03 Years’ Experience)
o A valid driver’s license (any code)
o Advantageous: Advanced Driving License / PDP
o A clean driving record
o Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)
o Familiarity with GPS devices
o Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
o Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage
o A polite and professional disposition
o Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
o A Matric Certificate.
