Job Description:

The purpose of this internship is to equip candidates to understand and acquaint themselves with the underlying principles of all of the major areas related to distribution within the Wholesale & Retail sector.

Qualifications:

Matric/ Grade 12
Tertiary logistics qualification will be advantageous
Attention to detail
Ability to interact well in teams
Ability to work effectively in teams
Self-motivated

Key Outputs:

Receiving of stock into the warehouse or retail outlet
Maintaining stock balances
Safe delivery of stock to customers
Legal requirement, organization policies, and procedures for the transportation of goods
Administrative functions related to the stock receipt and delivery
Stocktake procedures
Appropriate actions to be taken with regards to hazards and emergency situations

Job Type: Internship

Salary: R5,000.00 to R6,000.00 /hour

Education: High School (matric) (Preferred)
