Real Estate Investor is an independent media and digital company looking for a junior/medium level designer with experience, passion, and enthusiasm for designing in predominantly in digital and online applications. Please do not apply if you do not have a minimum of two contactable references and be prepared to take a design skill and speed test.

Responsible for:
Design print and digital magazine layout and design in print, pdf and digital formats
Designing advertisements, banner ads, e-books, website elements, logos and infographics
Design email marketing items, presentation material and design elements as per the brief
Editing, and producing videos online
Uploading magazine and designs to digital platform
Liaise with editorial, advertising and digital team on designs & deadlines
Proofing design features in the magazine for quality and consistency Advantageous:

WordPress experience
Good HTML and CSS knowledge
Proofreading experience is advantageous, but not required Personal skills/attributes:

A highly organized person
Adhere to strict deadlines
Ability to work accurately and professionally under pressure
A good team player
Proactive and self-disciplined
Willingness to learn and take direction
Excellent time management skills

REQUIREMENTS:

Tertiary qualification in graphic design
Experience in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
Computer literate (MS Word, internet, e-mail, etc.)
Strong understanding of web design
At least two years’ design experience in the digital/media industry
Disciplined and adaptable to multiple briefs.
Excellent time-management skills
Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines
Creativity and a passion for design
Capability to take on campaigns with multi-element tasks
