ICT Company with awesome culture and great working hours (Mon to Thurs from 08:00 to 17:00; Fri from 08:00 to 16:00), this software company is on the lookout for a Junior Accountant to assist with the bookkeeping and administration for various clients. A basic understanding of Pastel and XERO will be an advantage.

Essential:

Matric / Grade 12
Relevant certificate / qualification
Minimum of 3 years experience
Basic understanding of Pastel Payroll & VAT
Attention to detail
Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Advantageous:

Bookkeeping Diploma

Responsibilities:

Data capturing
Accounts up to trial balance
General filing
Weekly Customer Age Analysis
Assisting partners & managers with special requests
Age Analysis clean-up (Monthly)
Monthly Reconciliations of suppliers & customers
Capturing invoices and other documents
Monthly journals, queries and assistance with requests
Customer Statements as requested.
Resolving customer queries
Invoicing
Assisting with budgets
Preparation of audit files
Corrective Journals with regards to financial year-end

Must be diligent
Must be serious and committed to ensuring client service are met, and relationships are maintained
Must be a strong character that can handle pressure, enjoys a challenge, is presentable and portrays a professional image at all times
Have the ability to prioritize and multitask
